Petanque Pitch Officially open

On a lovely sunny evening on Monday 27 July the Seigneur of Samares Manor, Vincent Obbard, officially opened our new Petanque Pitch which can be found on the Common opposite the Parish Hall.

Connétable Len Norman thanked Fred Paisnel for his invaluable help with the creation of the pitch and our Foreman Rob Carré, ably assisted by George & Chris, for all their hard working building it.

Our Rector David Shaw blessed the pitch with a little of the scrumptious cider kindly provided by Andy & Emma Newton of Le Hocq Inn.
