The Royal Wedding at Grouville Church
‘THE ROYAL WEDDING’ The occasion of the Royal Wedding on Friday 29 April offers a wonderful opportunity for you to come to Grouville Parish Church to enjoy watching the event on the recently installed 3m screen. We will start at 10.00am to catch all of the excitement as Prince William’s and Catherine’s guests arrive at Westminster Abbey, and of course the Bride’s arrival, and then watch the actual wedding service from 11.00am – we may even sing along with the hymns if we know them. The church will be decorated as if for a wedding – so come dressed up in wedding finery if you want. We will have some bubbly and wedding cake ready for the end of the service. Teas, coffees and soft drinks will be available throughout but we also invite you to bring a picnic for after the service when we will move outside to sit down at tables and share a ‘wedding breakfast’ (inside a marquee if the weather is poor) If possible, please do let us know if you can come and ‘RSVP’ to royalwedding.grouville@gmail.com or phone Linda on 851033 We look forward to offering you a warm welcome |

Remembrance Sunday Members of the Municipality, Parishioners and especially former members of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces are invited to attend the Remembrance Day Service in the Parish Church of Grouville on Sunday 13th November at 10.45 a.m. After the Service a short Act of Remembrance will be held in the Churchyard (for those who died in the Battle of Jersey). Father Christmas Father Christmas will make his annual visit this year on Thursday the 8th December at 5.20. All gifts and donations for the less well off in the Community can be made on or before this date. Entertainment with DJ Caz, soft drinks and the traditional refreshments for the Children will be available. All are Welcome. |

Senior Citizens Christmas Party Grouville’s Senior Citizens Christmas Party is to take place on Saturday the 10th December at the Hotel Ambassadeur. If you have not received an invite by the last week of November and would like to attend, please contact the Parish Hall as we would like to encourage as many parishioners to attend as possible. Numbers are limited, but if we are unable to allocate you a place this year, we will add you to our list for next year. |
