Parish Assembly

An Assembly of the Principals and Electors of the Parish of Grouville will be held at Grouville Parish Hall on Wednesday the 29^th August 2007 at 8.00pm for the following business:-

1)         To receive and if approved, adopt the Acts of the Parish Assembly dated the 4^th July 2007.

2)         Licensing.

To take into consideration the application of the undermentioned who desire to be recommended to the Licensing Assembly for the Grant of a Licence for the year 2007, this by virtue of the Licensing (Jersey) Law, 1974 as amended.

Members of the Municipality, Parishioners and especially former members of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces are invited to attend the Remembrance Day Service in the Parish Church of Grouville on Sunday 11^th November at 10.45 a.m.

Electoral Assembly

Pursuant to an Act of the Royal Court dated the 9^th day of November 2007, whereby it is ordered that an Election for two Centeniers be held in the Parish of Grouville, the Terms of Office of Nicholas John Andrews and Duncan Godfrey Edward Page being due to expire.

In conformity with Article 19 of the Public Elections (Jersey) Law 2002, notice is hereby given that an Assembly of the Electors of the Parish of Grouville will be held at Grouville Parish Hall on Wednesday the 21^st November 2007  at 8.00pm to proceed with the said Election in conformity with the aforesaid Act of the Royal Court.

Saturday 8th December

Senior Citizens Christmas Party

Grouville’s Senior Citizens Christmas Party is to take place on Saturday the 8^th December at the Hotel Ambassadeur.

Thursday 13th December

Visit of Father Christmas

It is yet to be confirmed, but it is hoped that Father Christmas will make his annual visit this year on Thursday 13^th December at 5pm. All gifts and donations for the less well off in the Community can be made on or before this date. Entertainment, soft drinks and the traditional refreshments for the Children will be available from the Ladies of the Municipality. All are Welcome.

Constables Christmas Reception

This has been scheduled for 4pm on Friday the 21^st December, to which all are warmly welcome to join the Connétable and Dawn for a Christmas tipple.
