Jubilee Picnic Weekend at Lion Park The Lion Park in St Lawrence welcome all to their grounds to celebrate the Queens Jubilee. With free entry, plenty of parking and open daily over the full bank holiday period (2nd June to 5th June),  parishioners of all ages can bring their own picnic, friends, neighbours or family and enjoy the lake and gardens, model boats spectating and the tea room.

Sunday 3rd

Jubilee Church Events in the Parish 2012

The church services on 3^rd June are at the usual time of 8am and 9:30am. The services are Holy Communion and Fresh Start respectively. The 9:30am service in particular will have a Jubilee theme including the playing of the National Anthem. The flowers for the weekend will be in Jubilee colours.  

At St Matthew’s the service will be at 11am and at 4:45pm there is a Jubilee tea proceeded by the judging of ‘The Great St Matt’s Bake off’ celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee with a baking competition.
